The Design Information Form (SD01) is used to obtain all details about the design relating to each stage of the structure lifecycle – from demolition of any structures, construction of new structures or renovations, design for safe use, maintenance and repair, and demolition at end of life of the structure.
The Design Information Form is useful as a Concept Design evaluation early in the design development process to facilitate the designer to think about safety early in the Design Development Phase.
Information collated for this Form and stage can also be used to influence requirements for completing the Safe Design Report and Risk Assessment documentation.
The document is in MS Word, enabling you to download and save on your desktop, laptop or smart device. The document can be customised for your business, including adding your company logo and brand palette. The document also includes space for additional notes, and you can add further fields and content areas as needed for your specific project.
